The elementary program at Loma Linda Academy is based on a developmental philosophy. It is our desire to help children grow spiritually, mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. This development takes time and endeavors to show the student the love of God. This, in turn, gives the student the opportunity to love and serve others. "Higher than the highest human thought can reach is God's ideal for His children. Godliness - God Likeness - is the goal to be reached. Before the student there is opened a path of continual progress." (Education, p. 18).

Elementary education also lays the foundation for future learning much like the building of a strong house. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6). Education is a partnership between the parent, the school, and the church.

Dear Parents and Students,

At Loma Linda Academy, our dedicated teachers and staff strive to provide an education that nurtures the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We believe that every student is uniquely created by God and has been gifted with talents and abilities that, when nurtured, will allow them to flourish in all areas of life. Our mission is to help students grow in God’s grace, thrive intellectually, develop true friendships, and embrace healthful living.

As a Christ-centered school, we emphasize the Christian values of love, acceptance, and respect for all. We are committed to fostering an environment where every student feels welcomed, valued, and loved, regardless of their background or experience. At Loma Linda Academy, we strive to mirror Christ’s love by embracing diversity and encouraging our students to extend kindness and understanding to one another. It is through this foundation of love and acceptance that we build a strong, supportive community that allows our students to excel in all aspects of their lives.

Our dedicated staff will partner with you to ensure that your child experiences a rich and balanced education. We are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where students are challenged to reach their fullest potential. From the classroom to the playground, from chapel services to extracurricular activities, we aim to support every student and their family in every aspect of their educational journey, helping all students to excel academically, grow spiritually, and form lasting, meaningful friendships.

Kids University

Childcare that enhances the total learning experience. Kids’ University opens in the morning before school starts and again in the afternoon after school finishes for the day.
 
Basic Fee: $5.50 per hour
6:30-7:30am and after school until 6pm M-Th and 4pm on Fridays

Home & School

    Elementary Home & School meets once a month for worship, fellowship, and school updates. These meetings are also a great place to find out more about how to get involved and volunteer opportunities.

Accelerated Reader puts students in the driver’s seat. Engaging quizzes and activities help hone students’ reading skills with authentic practice—encouraging growth.
